Troy Kyle Walters born on April 19, 1964 to Charles and Sherry Walters in Yuma Arizona, and passed away on December 30, 2025 in Arlington Texas at the age of 61. He is survived by his three Children Courtney, Jordan and TJ, sister Stacy and bonus sisters Cheryl, Rhonda, Joy and their families. Troy has four maternal Aunts; Carole, Holly, Dana and Maysie and their families, paternal bonus Mom Cindy Walters and cousins. Troy is also survived by his best friends Richard and Diane, and many friends and colleagues that loved him.
Troy's family moved to Irving in 1967. There he grew up attending Lee Elementary, Travis Jr High and MacArthur High School, where he graduated in 1982. He loved playing sports from an early age; soccer, football, baseball and basketball, and he was good at every one of them. He loved playing games; board games, card games, dominoes, anything competitive. He loved riding his bike after school, then roller skating, rollerblading and skateboarding. He was a risk taker and daredevil on wheels.
In high school he learned to bowl and like all of the other prior sports, he mastered this competitive game as well. Whether bowling for fun, on a league team or in local tournament, Troy was well known in the community as a fun-loving, talented bowler.
At 14, he went to work at Westway Ford with his dad to help around the body shop, and quickly found his one and only forever career as an Auto Body painter. Not many people can say they have worked the same job all of their lives. Troy dedicated 47 years to his craft.
When Troy's children grew old enough to play sports, he proudly taught them everything he loved about each game. He coached his girls softball teams and spent many nights and weekends at the ball fields or in the gym. He was so proud when they went off to college to play ball for their college teams. If he wasn't watching his kids play ball, he watched college and pro sports on TV. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan all his life, even when they weren't winning. Troy also loved playing poker, whether for fun with family and friends or seriously in the casinos across the Texas Border. He spent a lot of time playing poker and as with every other game, he was good at it.
He made many great friends through his profession, hobbies, and the team sports he and his family played. Everyone who knew Troy loved him. He had a great smile, great sense of humor and a heart of gold.
Troy was not a religious man, and rarely spent time in the Church, but still believed in God. In his last days, he found peace and asked for forgiveness and guidance from the Lord for his journey to Heaven.
