What to Do When a Death Occurs

When a death has just occurred, the most important first step is to speak with someone who can help right away. Our ClearPath team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to walk you through what to do next and begin bringing your loved one into our care.



Whether the death occurred at home, in a care setting, or under unexpected circumstances, we’ll guide you through the necessary steps and help coordinate everything with compassion, simplicity, and clarity.

If you're not ready to talk by phone, or prefer to start the process online, you can complete our secure Immediate Need Form. This allows us to gather essential information and respond quickly with the support you need.



Once submitted, a ClearPath Care Advisor will reach out to you if we have any questions or need additional information.
